Pembrokeshire Music Service is committed to enriching the lives of young people through high-quality, inclusive music education across the county. Working closely with schools and communities, the service provides individual, group, and whole-class tuition through a structured service level agreement, as well as tailored projects for learners of all ages, including adult education.

A wide range of opportunities are offered, including the First Experiences programme for all Year 4 pupils, Second Steps Ensembles, and weekly rehearsals for rock and pop groups, orchestras, wind and brass bands, and string ensembles. The service also delivers two annual Valero music festivals, celebrating primary and secondary talent in partnership with local industry.

Pembrokeshire Music Service is proud to collaborate with a range of national partners, including Charanga Cymru, BBC NOW, Jazz Explorers, ABC of Opera, the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and Dyfed Young Music Makers. These partnerships offer pupils access to inspiring workshops, side-by-side projects, competitions, and professional performance opportunities.

Inclusivity remains at the heart of the service, with provision for pupils with additional learning needs through adaptive instruments, digital tools, and the Open Orchestra programme. A team of experienced, continually developing tutors ensures Pembrokeshire Music Service delivers impactful, forward-thinking music education to all.
